Product Description
This is a rear camera module for a mobile phone, featuring the Samsung S5K3L2 sensor. The S5K3L2 is a highly integrated 13-megapixel camera chip that includes a CMOS image sensor (CIS) data interface. It was developed by Samsung using their CMOS image sensor process for imaging applications, resulting in a high-efficiency, low-power back-illuminated (BSI) light sensor. The sensor is composed of 4208×3120 active pixels and is designed to meet the 1 inch / 3.06 inch optical format. The S5K3L2XX features an on-chip 10-bit ADC array that digitizes pixel output and a correlated double sampling (CDS) function that greatly reduces fixed pattern noise (FPN). It also combines on-chip camera functions, such as data packing, formatting, compression, shading correction, and serial transmission using MIPI. The camera module is programmed through the CCI serial interface and is suitable for low power consumption with a 2.8V/1.2V power supply.
